History
The Ragdoll (Ragdoll) than purebred cat, has been recognized for the first time in 1965. The breed comes from California, Ann Baker, who bred Persian cats. The "ancient mother" Josephine was derived from her first litter looking ragdoll. Josephine, a white Persian-Angora-type cat, who grew up on the streets. Because she had no a loving owner who had taken care of her, and love, kindness had been accumulated, therefore her nature was wild. She has had an accident, and it meant the future for her (ragdoll cats too). After the accident, Ann accepted and nursed her. Josephine give a lot of love for it. She had many lovely kiitens, and her nature was better an better. The kittens were completely different in nature, such as Josephine. Nice, playful and "people lover" are cats. Ann was fascinated by the nature of the kittens, like and then decided that breeding will Josephine. The ancestors of ragdoll cats, Buckwheat (Burmese female character), Raggedy Ann Fugianna (bicolour female), and Warbucks (tomcat). All of them, Josephine was her mother, but they have different father.

Ann founded his own organization (the International Ragdoll Cat Associate - IRCA), but this was not related to other cat organizations. Ann had strict breeding principles, later Ann getting wilder things set in about the ragdoll, the relationship with many breeders deteriorated, and they went out of her associaton. Then it started to get to accept the ragdoll with other associations, as a purebred cat. This is essentially Laura and Danny Dayton, and Georgeann Chambers and Dave "merit" who bought they cats from Ann, before she could enforce the principles of breeding, program.

In 1971 was formed the Society of The Ragdoll - Ragdoll Fancier's Club - today's Ragdoll Fanciers Club Internatonal (RFCI). The aim of Ragdoll cats acceptance of the larger organizations, and that the more people learn about this wonderful breed. In 1967 accepted in the USA, while Europe (Great Brittannia) in 1981 came the first kitten. The media helped like as delayed the spread of the cats. Unfortunately, a lot of misconception about them. For ex. they feel little or no pain, they do not afraid etc. ... That's why for the first time the organization did not accept them because they had such a "bad" properties. Of course, these bad qualities largely stemmed from Ann as a way to try to make this a more interesting race. It is important to know, however, that they feel the same way and in need of love, affection. They not lack of fear, only friendlier - even strangers - like other cats. Finally, 16 years after the first ragdoll kitten, the FIFE separate them as a separeted species.

Nature
Playful, the kitten like momentum continues throughout adulthood as well. In addition to quiet, almost it seems to be lazy. Much talked about her/his master, as if they understood each other - but it may well be true. Extraordinary playful nature while pampering you like the caressing peace of mind. While playing, you will never forget about her/his claws and will never scratch or bite its owner. Jumping, running, popping around, can become a party to any games. As a very loving person, it is especially looking for the companionship of others. If you need to leave alone longer and it's possible, keep two kitty. They are friendly with other animals, cats and dogs alike. The gardens need to be safety for her/him with a closed space from which she/he can not escape because of a friendly nature makes it easy to stole them. Calm, peaceful nature makes it a perfect companion for children, seniors. They coat does not require as much care like as a persian, but it is recommended once a week or twice to comb. In spring and fall, when you should replace a fur coat several times to comb. The cat and the owner is equally enjoy the combing, especially if the cat is accustomed since as her/his small age. It is important not to be violent, if the cat gets bored, let it go, and then try again. Give her/him treats and praise her/him. If you do not let the cat and will continue, despite almost a sure bet that the cat will never be welcome, if you want to combing. So be patient.

Misconception about the ragdolls
Unfortunately, over the years a lot of misconception was born about the kittens. It is true a lot of comes from Ann, who wanted to do even more popular the ragdoll with these "bad" qualities . For example, claimed that the ragdoll can not feel pain and fear. This is not true, because they are sentient beings. We still believe it, that as humans there are those who are below or above the pain threshold, maybe the cats it could be, but we can safely say that they can feel pain. ... that they can't feel fear? ... perhaps too confident overtime in other animals and in us, humans. It's not mean they not afraid, just they trust that everyone is kind and loves them. If we want to be treated as a human characteristic rather naive reality could be called, but by no means could be attributed to non-parties.

Things became evident that bone isn't different than the other cats, powerful and flexible as any other variety. The ragdoll nature can be explained with their properties, but it raises another misconception. Not all ragdoll throw herself/himself immediately in the hands of human, and not all are equally tolerant of pampering. Each is a separate character. There are some cat who need to take them in your lap and caress, but for some cat it is enough to lay on your lap and sometimes caressing them. This is not a fault, just her/his nature.

The ragdoll whatever is she/he, is true: always welcomes home her/his owner with love. She/he know when you arrive home, and already at the door waiting for meow, flatter. Sometimes they can not continue to increase pleasure, just lie down and wait for the owners warm hands caressing, gentle, soothing voice ... and maybe some treats.

One thing is certain, if someone had a ragdoll kitten, they can not even imagine life without she/he. Once and for all insinuates herself/himself into the heart of human, and never to be forgotten again, no one and nothing else can not make up ...

Colours snd patterns
The ragdoll kittens were originally two basic of colors: seal blue. Over the years, breeders have been breed six accepted colours.

All kittens are born white, usually at least 10 days, gradually appear in color and pattern, but their final color and pattern can only be achieved by the age of 3-4.
